What is an ‘industry’ member?
An industry member profile is created by anybody within the screen and stage industry seeking talent for an upcoming production.
How much does it cost to join Actors and Extras?
As an actor or extra it is 100% free to join and create a profile. There is no cost to join as a member of the screen and stage industry, but a small fee is charged to make contact with talent members.
How old do I have to be to join?
You must be over 18 to create an Actors and Extras account, however a person over the age of 18 can represent a minor.
Is Actors and Extras a talent agency?
No, Actors and Extras is a talent directory. We do not act on your behalf or represent you or take commission from any work you do.
What if I already have an agent?
If you already have an agent, Actors and Extras can assist your agent by making you visible to anybody seeking talent for a screen or stage production.
Do I need professional photos to create a profile?
No, it is not required that you have professional photos, however having sharp, well-lit photos will enhance your chances of standing out.
